Part I: Dangerous Obsessions

The Twilight Saga and Bella Swan – so-called emotionless, pitiful, soulless movies and character that was able to capture millions of teenage girls and middle-aged women’s attention for over a decade. There is something about her I honestly admire. And it’s not her undying illogical devotion to a vampire. Not her blind love. It’s her determination, curiosity, bravery, and stubbornness to get what she wants and desires no matter what. That feeling of a purpose, even if it’s a dangerous and a very different person with a completely foreign lifestyle. I admire her style and ignorance towards daily things that all the ordinary teenage girls care about.

Maybe it was poorly written, but this exact flaw left enough space for a lustful obsession. And I can’t say no to that…

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb… – he murmured.

Part II: Bella in New Moon

Yes, the second movie turns into a soap opera, I know… But it shows the reality of the intoxicating effects of love and obsession. Bella’s determination to mourn, hope to save her cold-blooded ex-lover brings him back to her. It rarely happens in real life, but a girl can dream. While she’s building a new relationship, that is…

Forbidden to remember, terrified to forget; it was a hard line to walk.

Part III: Breaking The Bed

It takes four books and over-the-top wedding ceremony for Stephenie Meyer to allow Bella and Edward to make love. I definitely wasn’t waiting for the wedding scene when Breaking Dawn came out. It was the wedding night that everyone was hoping to get an invitation to. Including Bella. While she’s still a full-on hot-blooded human.

Kinky. That’s how 50 Shades of Grey were born after all…

Why am I covered in feathers? – I asked, confused.
He exhaled impatiently.  – I bit a pillow. Or two…
